About PTM
In 2015, Ryan decided to formalize what he'd been doing for the previous 25 years—washing and restoring homes and buildings across the Midwest. But it wasn't about expansion or creating another contractor service. It was about doing it right. He'd worked in this industry long enough to see the gaps: contractors who disappeared after the job, who cut corners on insurance, who didn't explain what they were actually doing to your property.
PTM came from a simple frustration. The industry had gotten lazy about communication. Homeowners didn't understand why their siding looked dull or why pressure washing could damage it. Building managers were getting quotes from companies that seemed to care more about speed than safety. Ryan watched clients get burned—literally in some cases—by aggressive cleaning methods that left permanent marks.
So he built PTM around what he'd learned: that you need someone who speaks plainly about what your property actually needs, who carries serious insurance so you're protected, and who shows up as a partner, not a vendor passing through.
'We measure success by whether you'd call us again—and whether you'd recommend us to a neighbor.'
— Ryan, Owner & Founder
After a decade of working across the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest, we've crystallized what actually matters to customers. Your home or building gets one chance to make a first impression, but more than that—it's where you live or work. It deserves care.
Communication changes everything. We've seen jobs go sideways because a contractor never explained what they were actually going to do. Now we walk through your property with you, tell you exactly what we see, and talk through the options—not what's fastest or cheapest, but what's safest and right for your specific situation. You're not guessing. You know.
Insurance and liability protection matter more than most people think. We carry high limits because we respect your risk, not just ours. When something goes wrong—and in this business, accidents happen—you're covered. That peace of mind is as much a part of what we deliver as the clean building.
The method matters. We invested in soft wash technology and biodegradable solutions because we learned that aggressive pressure can damage surfaces. Being EPA compliant isn't a checkbox for us—it's proof that we're thinking about your property's longevity and the environment. It costs more upfront. It's worth it.
When you contact us, you're not talking to a scheduler. You're talking to someone who can assess your property and actually think through what it needs. We ask questions. We listen. We suggest options, and we explain why we're suggesting them. If you're nervous about what something will cost or whether it's necessary, we get it—and we talk through it.
On the day we show up, you'll notice the difference. Our team treats your property like it matters, because it does. There's no rushing, no pressure. We document what we're doing. We answer questions as they come up. And when we're done, you see the results and understand exactly what happened to your home or building.
If you're ready to talk about your property—whether it's residential, commercial, or industrial—reach out. We're here to listen, assess, and give you a straight answer about what's needed and how we'd handle it.
